Every piece is packed and posted by the artist who made it. You have 14 days from confirmed delivery to return it, for any reason.

How it works

From the studio to your wall.

Four steps, no middleman fulfilment, no forwarding warehouse. The artist is the one handling your piece end-to-end.

The artist packs and ships

Your piece is packaged by the artist themselves, to the standard that one-off originals need. No fulfilment centre in the middle.

You receive tracking

As soon as the carrier accepts the shipment, tracking lands in your order page and by email. You can follow the piece door-to-door.

You confirm delivery

When it arrives safely, tap Confirm delivery on the order. This starts your 14-day return window and releases the artist’s payout timer.

You have 14 days

Live with the piece. If it isn’t right, start a return from the order page any time in those 14 days.

Shipping costs

Shipping is set by the artist and shown at checkout before you pay. We don’t mark it up and the artist keeps 100% of what you pay for shipping — it covers packaging, postage, and insurance. Prices reflect where you are and how fragile the piece is; you’ll never be hit with a surprise charge after the sale.

International shipping

Many artists ship worldwide; some ship only within their home country. You can filter artwork by “ships to my country” on Discover, and every artwork page shows the countries the artist currently ships to. Customs and import duties for international shipments are the collector’s responsibility and aren’t collected by Art Collective at checkout.

Returns

You have 14 days from the moment you confirm delivery to return a piece. For a change-of-mind return, the collector pays return shipping; for damage or a materially not-as-described piece, we cover the return and coordinate the carrier. Refunds land on your original card within 3–5 business days after the piece is safely back with the artist.

Damaged in transit

It’s rare, but it happens. Photograph the outer packaging if it looks knocked about, photograph the damage to the work, and contact support within your 14-day window. We open a claim with the artist and with the carrier, hold the payout until the claim resolves, and arrange either a full refund or a replacement where the artist offers one.
